Mechanical Engineer - Board Certified Civil Trial Attorney - Member of the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers - 30 Years Experience Fighting for Accident Victims
I take the responsibility of representing accident victims very seriously.
If you are serious about choosing an attorney who will fight for you, then you should know that:
I worked as a design engineer after earning a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University.
My training and experience as an engineer are invaluable in working with the experts who will help prove your case. That same training and experience is critical in cross-examination of the experts who will be hired by the insurance and trucking companies. See our section on truck accident investigations for an explanation as to why this expertise is so important in accidents involving tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles.
I am recognized in the Bar Registry of Preeminent Lawyers and have received the AV* ratings-- the highest possible rating of legal ability and adherence to the professional standards of conduct, ethics, reliability and diligence. This distinction is based solely on rating under Martindale-Hubbell's peer review rating system.
I am certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a Civil Trial Specialist.
Less than 1% of the members of the Pennsylvania Bar Association are Certified Civil Trial Specialists. Only one in 300 attorneys is both Board Certified as Civil Trial Specialist and listed in the Bar Registry of Preeminent Lawyers. Throughout Pennsylvania, only a handful of attorneys also have the advantage of being a mechanical engineer.
I have represented many accident victims who have been catastrophically injured. Please review our results section for a summary of results in some of our recent cases.
During the last 14 years, I have been an instructor for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy, and have been an instructor at post-graduate trial advocacy seminars at Georgetown, Temple, and Dickinson Law schools.
I am married and have three children and three stepchildren. My interests include golf, tennis, basketball and soccer. I am proud to have survived a total of more than 30 seasons (and still counting) as a coach of youth soccer and youth basketball.
